Application process for a nurse outside of the European Economic Area

Typical time period: 8 weeks between offer and deployment

1. Apply

Apply to My Healthcare Recruit with an eligible qualification and a minimum of 1 year experience

2. Video CV

Complete a video profile to bring your application to life

3. Live Video Interview

Complete a video profile to bring your application to life

4. Offer of Employment

Receive a conditional offer of employment subject to successful NMC registration (this requires you to pass an IELTS English Language test at Level 7, and also the NMC Computer Based Test

5. Visa Application

When you have received your NMC decision letter your employer will register for a Certificate of Sponsorship for you and you can apply for your UK visa

6. Fly to the UK

Arrive in the UK with a full relocation package which includes a meet and greet at the airport and transport to your accommodation

7. OSCE Exam and Receipt of NMC Pin

Pass the OSCE practical exam and receive your NMC Pin which confirms you are a fully registered nurse in the UK. (When you arrive you will be on an equivalent Band 3/ 4 until you have passed your OSCE practical exam.)
